Family, friends and sometimes just brief acquaintances express interest in my Catholic Faith, and though I am not an expert theologian, I am just someone who has lived in a world without Jesus , and know what life is like without God. I want to bring the Joy I found to others in my little way. My faith as evolved with Mary’s divine intersession. With the month of October being dedicated to Our Lady, I think this is the perfect time to share inspirational prayers , devotions, books and art of Mary the Mother of God. The most important life changing moments for me came with reading the words of Christ in the New Testament, attending Mass and receiving the Eucharist. Also, Bible Study at my parish and listening and viewing EWTN. has also been influential. Growing up without the love of Jesus is like growing up without food, he is nourishment for the spiritual life. I know Mary has played a key role in my awakening, she brought me to her son. There is much to say about Mary it is not possible to assimilate the knowledge, wisdom and virtues and Blessings she brings to us in such little time. I intend to share what has influenced and has been powerful in conversions of souls through the centuries with Mary’s intercession. If you have a devotion or prayer with Our Lady that has been life changing for you, please share with my readers by leaving a comment.
Mary’s role in the Church is inseparable from her union with Christ and flows directly from it. “This union of the mother with the Son in the work of salvation is made manifest from the time of Christ’s virginal conception up to His death”; it is made manifest above all at the hour of His Passion. Catechism pg.273
O, Mary Conceived Without Sin Pray For Us That Have Recourse To Thee
Mary our Mother of God has been instrumental in my conversion, strengthened my Faith and has interceded on many occasions and difficulties in my life. Mary has brought myself and my family to her Son Jesus. I can remember the first time I prayed the rosary twenty-five years ago, I can see clearly the blessings that I have been given. When you choose the Way of Christ do not think, worries and distress will not arise, this is how we become a better person. God uses these situations to shape us as his disciples, this I believe may be when God is calling us. To become more of what God wants us to be through humility or to teach us mercy as he shows us mercy . Mary will make your cross a lighter load so much so you do not feel the weight of your cross. For our times Mary is the answer. If you want peace and true Joy Mary will bring you to God. I remember when I thought happiness was in material wealth and success. Those things in life are temporary and they can disappear from situations out of our control. We can have extreme wealth, lots of nice pretty things, health and even be beautiful but beauty fades and wealth can be lost in a instant.
We can give Mary our life to shape and mold us, to prepare us for our Lord, then we have nothing to fear. Just give her everything and she will guide you in the right direction.
The Rosary is the way to salvation. When reciting the rosary we are meditating on the life of Christ.
The Bride and Groom in the story are us. We who have done all that we could. Humanly speaking to ensure our happiness find that our life scripts have been changed by unexplained outside forces.♥
Suddenly chaos erupts and in walks stress, sorrow, anger and frustrations. All of our efforts have come to nothing. We are at the end of ourselves and in that dark moment. Jesus and Mary arrive. Mary conveys our predicament to Jesus. We have no more wine… no more joy in life, no sense of purpose or meaning. Even though Jesus says to Mary “what is that to me and thee?”, “My time has not yet come.” Jesus nevertheless, intervenes. ♥
I see Him in the role of the servant in this story as well. His is the suffering servant, carrying in like the empty clay jars on his back as He carries the cross, He carries our sins, miseries, anxieties, emptiness, vulnerabilities and as He does everything changes. He fills us with the water and wine (our clay hearts) flowing from His side, from His Heart. “O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy on us,” as He pours Himself into us we come to life again we out filled with very life of Jesus and our mourning will turn to Joy and the Wedding Feast of Cana changed everything of the Bride and Groom.♥
The moral of this story ; always invite Jesus and Mary into all your life, especially when things aren’t going as planned. Their presence changes things- if not the circumstances then how we look at out circumstance. Jesus and Mary change us, change our hearts,♥ They change our wants. Their presence makes all the difference!!♥

The Rosary originated in 1208, Our Lady appeared to Saint Dominic in the chapel of Notre Dame and instructed him on how to recite the Rosary. Saint Dominic was preaching against the Albigensian heresy in southern France without success, until Mary’s intervention. Mary told him to preach it to the world, promising it would convert sinners and obtain graces for the just. With October dedicated to the Holy Rosary. The rosary is a spiritual weapon that the enemy (satan) fears.
These are powerful promises Mary has given us , and just like a mother she has given us inspiration and incentive to have a devotion to the Rosary.

I have suggested these books before however, I want to stress how important they can be in the workings of our salvation
A quote from Saint Mother Teresa
“I am a little pencil in God’s Hands. He does the thinking, He does the writing, He does everything and sometimes it is really hard because it is a broken pencil and he has to sharpen it a little more.”——-a inspiration to a artist like myself, I may not be the most capable to share the joy of God, but I am willing and blessed to have the opportunity to do so.
With Providence and intercession a beautiful person, Carol has graciously agreed to collaborate with me with this task of reaching out and spreading the Good News of Christ and Gods Love in our “Little Way” as “Gods Little Ones”, inspiring our brothers and sisters as a small act of mercy. I think you will agree after reading Carol’s stories she is quite inspirational with insights that are astounding. I am appreciative of Carols participation. Carol and I both agree we want no glory praise or notoriety with any writing or art work presented, these are gifts given to us from the Holy Spirit it is not ours to take credit for; everything comes from God so how can we boast. This is why Carol does not want her last name published, she wants to be addressed as “His Carol”.
♥I have an appointment with my cardiologist♥today. He is concerned about hardening of the arteries, blockages, circulation, ventricle issues, etc. Actually he seems to feel I need a heart transplant. ♥ It seems serious so I went to my nine o’clock appointment. He met me with open arms. I told Him I had abused my heart and He told me He already knew about it. He said that my heart was dying that I needed a heart transplant. What astounded me that He was willing to give me His Own Heart for the transplant. So I went to communion and received my cardiologist’s own Heart this morning.♥ Love was circulating again in my being, and my life . I am in love with my cardiologist who gave me is Heart and saved my life. ♥Jesus my wonderful heart doctor, told my heart to beat again, and I do at every mass and at every communion. ♥ So if your heart feels cold, dead and hardened by the travails of life there is Hope, come to Jesus. He will give you a new heart. You will live again, sing again, He promises. ♥

♥ ♥ ♥ Eucharist ♥ Miracle ♥ ♥ ♥
12 centuries ago a Basilian Monk doubted the Real Presence of the Body and Blood of Jesus in the Eucharist. At the consecration of the Mass, the host was changed into visible Flesh and the wine became live blood. In 1970 a scientific review after research and testing concluded upon results the flesh and blood were of human origin. The flesh was of muscular tissues of the heart(myocardium). The flesh and blood belonged to the same blood type AB. In the blood were found proteins of fresh normal blood. Keep in mind were left in their natural state for twelve centuries. Again in 1976, the medical Commission of the United Nations World Health Organization re-examined the facts and confirmed this a Divine Miracle and labeled it “a case unique in the history of medicine.
How powerful and astounding is this. For all of us who are doubting Thomas’s. God would love us so much to nourish our souls with the body and blood of Jesus available everyday at mass all over the world. This is food for our spiritual life, It sustains us. Christ gave us this gift that he will be with us. He gives us himself in this sacrament, celebrating with all the angels and saints the Mass is heaven on earth.
How can we not look at the crucifix and not be brought to tears that we are loved beyond imagination. I know I will never be worthy of the Body and Blood of Jesus, however, receiving the Eucharist gives me strength to overcome sins. Through sacrament of reconciliation (confession ) and penance and prayer I become stronger in my Faith ,only through God’s mercy and with humility. When I fall to sin, I know Jesus is there again, and again to help me overcome. Son of God became man “to gather together into one the scattered children of God “(John 11:52). By the paschal mystery of His death and resurrection He redeemed man. Jesus Christ is the High Priest.
At the Last Supper on the night Jesus was betrayed, our savior instituted the Eucharist , sacrifice of His Body and Blood.
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 26:26-28
Jesus tells us again in John 6:54-59 “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my Flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever. These things he said while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.
Catechism of the Catholic Church:
1411 Only validly ordained priests can preside at the Eucharist and consecrate the bread and the wine so that they become the Body and Bread of the Lord.
1415 One must be in a state of grace and not have committed mortal sin. Anyone aware of committing a mortal sin must not receive communion without absolution in the sacrament of penance.
The whole liturgical life revolves around the Eucharistic sacrifice. There are seven sacraments in the Catholic Church. Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the sick, Holy Orders and Matrimony.
It is the central Christian Sacrament, the Eucharist is the sacraments of all the other sacraments and is ordered as to their end.
Let us pray for the ones who do not believe, just as in Jesus day his some of his disciples did not believe ………
John 6:60 Then many of his disciples who were listening said, “This saying is hard; who can accept it?”
For us that that believe, we can console Jesus and except his gifts. We can offer Jesus reparations for the unbelief and sins against Him.
|Oh Most Holy Trinity,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
I adore Thee profoundly.
I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity
of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world,
in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and
indifference’s by which He is offended.
By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I beg the conversion of poor sinners.Amen.
The Last Supper painted by artist Leonardo da Vinci as told in John. This painting hangs in Santa Maris dell Grazie, Milan
Painted in the 1500’s very little of the original painting exist after restoration.
Jesus in Conversation with Sister Faustina When I come to a human heart in Holy Communion, my hands are full of all kinds of graces which I want to give to the soul, but souls do not even pay attention to me. They leave me to myself and busy themselves with other things… They treat me as a dead object.
After my conversion I would attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation. After the sale of our business we owned for twenty years this gave me more available time, I discovered the beauty of daily Mass , the food Jesus gives me for my soul strengthens me. There are times because of obligations I am not able to, and I will admit I am a Martha (Luke 10:38-42). Worried and anxious about the things that are not really important. I am gradually transforming into a Mary, there are weeds in the yard, dust on the furniture, rooms that need cleaned and a million other things that distract me, even so I will still go to mass this morning. There are 168 hours in a week one hour on Sunday does not sustain me. Imagine in your mind Jesus preparing a beautiful Banquet, a perfect meal for you but you are to busy to attend, how hurt he must have been when I could not give him the Love he wanted to give me because I was too busy, I was an anxious Martha. When I become anxious like Martha did in Scripture I find I do not like the person I become, irritated and impatient, what I receive at the table of the Lord transforms me through Gods grace the I am still working on being Mary at peace spending time with my Lord. Our vocation in life that we have been blessed with may not permit us to attend mass as often as we would like. Let us then in these days offer up a spiritual communion:
My Jesus I believe that you are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I long for you in my soul. Since I cannot not receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though You have already come, I embrace you and unite myself entirely to You, never permit me to be separated from You. Amen
